Small Groups
We are becoming a church of small groups. To that end we invite everyone; members, regular attenders and seekers to join one of our groups. Joining a group is a way to meet people and become part of the church quickly. It is also an opportunity to grow in faith as the group studies the Bible, prays, and works together
We have a number of groups to choose from. And we are always looking for people who would like to start a new group. If you would like help connecting with a group please contact Amanda Daniels or call the church office at (509) 783-3012. t
Monday Night Young Adult Group: Anyone who considers themselves a “young adult” is welcome! They get together to discuss life and how God has a part in it. They usually pick a book to study together, and come each week to discuss the book, share prayer requests, and catch up on each others’ lives. Past series have included the Nooma videos and other contemporary Christian books.
Tuesday Night Group: Men and women gather together on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm at a member’s home to share in a time of study, prayer, and fellowship. They are always open to new members, and some of their past studies have included the book of Isaiah and a number of materials by Max Lucado.
Wednesday Night Group: Men and women gather together on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm at a member’s home. They spend their time checking in with one another, engaging in a study, and praying for each other. Children are welcome, and typically gather in another room to watch a movie or play games. Past studies they have participated in include Philippians, Disciple – Old Testament, and C.S. Lewis’ “The Great Divorce.”
Thursday Afternoon Ladies' Group: These women meet Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at the church. They spend their time together sharing about their week, doing some reading out of their current study, and discussing their thoughts on it. They are happy to give anyone a ride to and from group as well!
Thursday Night Men's Group: The men in this group meet Thursdays at 7:00 pm. These men are a part of a mentoring program, helping men that are newly released from incarceration. They spend their time catching up with one another, praying, and being present and available to the men they are trying to reach.
Saturday Morning Men’s Group: These men gather together on Saturday mornings at 9:00 in the Worship Space at the church. They spend time studying together, praying, and sharing about their lives. They have a passion for men’s ministry in the church, and enjoy a wide scope of opinions in their discussions.
