The music ministry of West Highlands offers opportunities for your participation throughout the year.  The only requirement is an interest in music and a passion to praise God.

PHONERIAN CHOIR sings the traditional hymns of faith at the Traditional (11:15 am)worship service.  Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7:00 pm,  September - May.

SONS OF THUNDER   The music is “familiar contemporary” or sometimes old songs and hymns with a new twist.  They play at early worship (9:30 am) on the first and last Sunday. They also play at various nursing facilities, and Walk with Christ events.

TEAM 2  The music performed by this group is more contemporary with a few oldies thrown in. They play at early worship (9:30 am) on the second and third Sunday of each month and occasionally on the fourth Sunday . If you are interested in contemporary Christian music you are invited to practice with us on Tuesday evenings at 7pm.

BRASS ENSEMBLE This group plays for worship on special occasions through the year. If you play a brass instrument you are encouraged to contact the leader, Tim Mensinger (586-3096) to find out how to get involved.
